Day of Mental Wellness Was A Success!

I had a Day of Mental Wellness at my house the other day and it was a huge success. Eight people came, and we had a day full of art, conversation, and cupcake decorating. I really enjoyed the day and doing this for the people who came, as I could tell they enjoyed it. I plan on doing these as much as possible and already planning one for next month.

What Others Said

“It was a fun afternoon, lots of great activities, crafts, treats and fellowship, a nice thing to do on a monthly basis… like a drop in… who ever would like to come… they can be theme based too!!” – Angel Billy

“If you were having a particularly rough day on January 17th, the place to be was Jessica Victoria’s first, Mental Health Day. It was an afternoon filled with activities such as colouring, painting, Gratitude/Compliment Jars, snacks and great conversation. It was the perfect place to unwind and have lots of laughs. Great job, Jessica.” – Jackie Armstrong

“It was a great experience. I really enjoyed the small groups which lead to more intimate conversation. Meeting new people and being able to connect to them is always a joy. It was very well organized with lots of different activities so there was never a dull moment. Jessica the coordinator made sure to switch up the activities every so often while gaining everyone’s input so the afternoon stayed fresh and fun! Very fun afternoon! So lucky to have gone… not to mention the take away bag with little reminders to keep the rest of your days just as peaceful.” – Taylor Johnson
